Hi, my name is Jeff. I live on Peveto Beach in SW Louisiana. I love the area, the wildlife, the People and the beach. Thought I would try and show off the beauty of SW Louisiana, its crazy cool here! I see so much flora and fauna everyday, all within 20 miles of my house, it's overload for the average bird watcher.
People ask me, Why would you leave Malibu California for Johnson Bayou Louisiana?
We moved to SW Louisiana in 2015, Lived in Malibu for 11 years, property managers for Malibu Beach RV Park. Lots of fun! Hung out daily with Movie stars and Millionaires. Helped Matthew McConaughey with his movie Surfer Dude, got many a story about life in Malibu, but I would rather be here in SW Louisiana.

We were able to purchase Matthew's Custom F250 King Ranch which he used to pull his Airstream around the country advertising his movie "Saharah"
Why Leave Malibu California, for Johnson Bayou Louisiana?
Our Friend and Employer of 11 years died in a hot air balloon crash and my wife Cheryl had a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage and ended up in ICU for 26 days at Ronald Reagan Medical center. It's a miracle she survived! When in recovery, I asked her what she wanted to do and she said live on a beach, so here we are! Rest in Peace Grant...
